Maria Cristina Farioli graduated cum laude in Economics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan with an innovative thesis and in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano on “Robotics, Flexibility and Employment”, won participation in the Master in Finance and Business Administration at the Romolo Reiss school of Italtel following which she joined IBM Italia.
In IBM Italia she began a brilliant managerial career that lasted thirty years. During this long period, she covered various roles that took her through the main units of the company organization.
She started from the Information System department to move to Human Resources and then certified as a "Strategy design and Business Transformation" consultant. She spent ten years in the consulting unit, leading two hundred consultants at European level for the CRM area. As a senior executive she joined the company's Board of Directors, covering the role of Director of Marketing, Communication and Citizenship and then Director of Business Development. Worth mentioning the role she held for five years from 2008 as Director of Smart Cities which led her to promote IBM's new strategy through Italian cities and to take part to MIUR commission on the topic.
After a long and satisfying career, she left IBM Italy and decided to work as a senior advisor on Digital Transformation, Strategic Marketing and Communication Planning, Digital Marketing and Artificial Intelligence.
In 2019, in Digital360 Group, the largest network in Italy of B2B newspapers and portals dedicated to the topics of Digital Transformation and Business Innovation, she collaborated for the development and promotion of the Corporate Brand and coordinated a team for the design of a Marketing Automation platform.
In 2020, in Expert System Group, a leading company in the Artificial Intelligence sector specialized in the development of linguistic models, she developed a strategic Marketing plan for the entire group at worldwide level, starting with a digital Brand awareness campaign and setting up an Observatory on the main competitors in the Artificial Intelligence market.
Since four years she collaborates with Stra-Le Management Lab, for managerial training, in particular she has led numerous laboratory sessions for Enel group.
Currently in RED S.r.l. (Real Estate Direction) she is the Partner responsible for Digital Strategy and Service Design for innovative and sustainable real estate projects.
MC Farioli is also a contract professor at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan for the "Management and Organization in Digital Economy" course and for the Digital Marketing module of the International Master in Marketing Management.
She is APCO certified as a Business Management & Strategy Design consultant and Member of AISM (Italian Marketing Association).
She also works as a publicist collaborating with the magazine "Innovazione PA" published by Soiel International.
